Physiological

Kāya-passaddhi, Tranquility of Body

The capacity of your nervous system to regulate itself. HRV optimization, vagal tone, somatic awareness, and interoception. The ability to shift between activation and calm, to recover from stress rather than accumulate it. This is the body's foundation.

Psychological

Cittānupassanā, Contemplation of Mind

The mental patterns, beliefs, schemas, and cognitive habits that interpret experience. Meta-cognitive clarity and the trained ability to observe thoughts and emotions without being captured by them. This is the mind's contribution.

Spiritual

Anattā, Non-Self

The relationship between self and world. When the sense of self becomes fluid rather than fixed, threats to ego no longer destabilize. The capacity to hold experience without being defined by it. This is the domain of the soul.

I studied physiology at Harvard Medical School, nutrition at Tufts University School of Medicine, and hold an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I am the author of the best-selling book The Amazing Health Transformation and host of The Ritesh Bawri Show.

Today, I lead Nira Balance, a premium health optimization company serving driven individuals committed to genuine transformation. I write about the intersection of contemplative wisdom and contemporary science. And I share these insights with anyone willing to do the work.
