Kefir

We are always looking for super foods to help us heal or address many of the problems we have accumulated over the years. One such super food to consider adding to your diet it kefir. Kefir has been popular in the Caucasus mountains for long and is considered one of the reasons why the shepherds lived long and healthy lives.

Kefir is made by adding grains to milk and allowing it to ferment for a day. Its a fairly simple process much like making curd but the end result is a super food that has many healing properties. In addition to being protein rich, it has more than thirty living microflora that include lacto bacillus, lactic acid and a wide variety of yeasts. The good bacteria go to work on your gut healing and restoring its ability to digest your food. It also has a high proportion of vitamins including B2, B12, A, K and D, calcium and magnesium.

This makes the kefir a great anti bacterial and anti fungal food. Its healing benefits including calming your nerves, helping metabolic disorders, allergies, tuberculosis, poor digestion, cancer, osteoporosis and cardiac ailments. It has been found to be relatively easily digested by people who are lactose intolerant.

Kefir needs starter grains which can be purchased online or from a store. Once you buy the grains, they multiply and can be used to make kefir at home everyday. So if you fancy your chances of becoming a shepherd in the mountains get started on kefir or better still do it to live a long and healthy life.

I’ve been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found
any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth
enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet
will be much more useful than ever before.
