Anti Oxidants

I have written about anti-oxidants before but you can’t write enough about it as it is one of the most important factors that prevents cancer and other diseases in the long run. Fortunately it is extremely easy to add anti-oxidants to your food and whether your worry about mental health, cardio-vascular issues or diabetic related issues, adding anti-oxidants is a great way to heal your body. Here are some of the top foods you can add

Resveratrol which is the active ingredient in peanuts and red wine

Pterostilbene which is found in most berries and almonds.

Anthocyanins & Punicalagins which is found in pomegranate. Pomegranate is rich in carbohydrates and therefore having one half a day is best

Salidroside & Rosavin which is found in the tibetan herb rhodiola herb

R- Lipoic Acid which is found in broccoli and spinach.

COQ10 which his found in kidney, liver and also in broccoli, spinach and cauliflower. It is also found in peanuts. People who are at risk for Alzheimers and related disease should add COQ10 to their diet. It is also found as a supplement but having it naturally is best.

Pyrroloquinoline Quinone (thank you Ravi for pointing me to this) which is found in green tea and most plants and vegetables. It is also found in soybeans and tofu.

Adding anti-oxidants dramatically reduces free radicals in your body which helps reduce the risk of cancer. I actively eat pomegranate, peanuts, broccoli, spinach and legumes and drink green tea.
